We recognise that young people are especially vulnerable to social exclusion.

Many of the young people involved with Elevate have a history of dropping out from learning activities and a negative experience of education. Isolation is often a cause and consequence of the difficulties they face. We want to reverse this.

Running inclusive activities enables young people to integrate with their communities. Through our programmes, we hope that young people will broaden their positive social networks, have fun and gain transferable skills.

Above all, young people should have hope for the future, high aspirations and the opportunity to achieve them, without distinction of background, income or postcode.
